Paper Mache Hats!

In this paper mâché hat project, students designed and built oversized wearable sculptures that could not resemble a traditional hat, pushing them to think creatively and abstractly. Using cardboard, paper mâché, and paint, students explored form, structure, and craftsmanship before finishing their pieces with bold color and detail. The project concluded with a school-wide fashion show, where students proudly modeled their hats and celebrated creativity, confidence, and artistic expression.
