Hi! My name is Danielle Turner. I am a middle school art teacher, ceramic artist, and emerging designer. I earned my BFA in Ceramics from the University of Hawai‘i Mānoa in 2024 and continued my path in education by pursuing a single-subject art credential through Alliant International University.

My work is grounded in experimentation and evolves organically throughout the creative process. I embrace unexpected challenges as opportunities for discovery, letting each piece grow into its own voice. As an educator, I carry this mindset into the classroom, encouraging students to take risks, think creatively, and explore multiple approaches to problem-solving. I believe art education plays a vital role in building confidence, fostering self-expression, and helping students develop the skills they need to navigate an ever-changing world.

Beyond the classroom and my own art practice, I continue to explore how art can bring people together. In the same way I share my love of art with students, I am passionate about connecting people, clients, and businesses with artwork that resonates with them. I find value in using art and design to create shared experiences that feel both meaningful and accessible. Across different spaces and contexts, I’m continually drawn to the power of art to connect people in ways that go beyond words.
